Thursday Observation

Today's skys have stratus clouds covering appoximately 40% of the sky. The bitter cold wind is blowing from the southwest at 15mph. The temperature as recorded at 1pm on the phillips weather station is -4.9 degree C = 23.18 degree F. As I predicted teh days are warm with cold winds and I predict the night will be cold again with lows in the single digits nearing 0 degrees F.
The surface map form the UNISYS weather is a map of the surface conditions and nicely show the wind direction and intensity.
